Raindrops

The Raindrops collection was born on a rainy afternoon in Arezzo, Italy. She was sitting in a car, not going anywhere in particular, watching drops form and dissolve on the window glass. Each one arrived, held its shape for a moment, and disappeared. She watched for long enough that she stopped seeing rain and started seeing jewelry. That is how Chorthip's best work begins — not at a drawing table, but in a moment of ordinary attention that refuses to let go. Every piece is hand-formed in wax, cast in sterling silver, and finished entirely by hand — silver chosen for the way it holds light the way water does. Each one carries the shape of something that was never meant to last. That is precisely why it does.
